Dr. Theodore H. Curtis, M.D.

Dr. Curtis was born and raised in Bangor, Maine.  He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maine, and then went to medical school at Penn State.  He did his ophthalmology residency training at the University of Colorado, followed by fellowship training in pediatric eye diseases at the Oregon Health & Sciences University in Portland, Oregon.  He is board-certified in ophthalmology and a member of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.

After his training, Dr. Curtis worked at the Children's Hospital in Denver, one of the top 10 pediatric hospitals in the nation, where he provided cutting-edge eye care to children and helped teach the next generation of doctors.

After spending a decade in the western US, Dr. Curtis was happy to return to the northeast and start his own practice specializing in pediatric eye care and adult strabmismus (eye muscle balance disorders).
